My highest score was 15.8% in four different areas. They were Verbal/ Linguistic, Visual Spatial, Interpersonal and Intrapersonal. I believe that this is somewhat accurate because I tend to not struggle to explain my thoughts, feelings, etc through words. I love to be creative and draw and create art that is visually representational of my subject. I like to work in groups and find it helpful to learn from other peoples ideas but I also like to work individually in order to better myself in a subject or dedicate myself to a project.

I ranked highest in verbal/linguistic. I find this to be incredibly accurate because I’ve always loved learning new languages and they come easily to me. I’m good at English and I’m always very happy to participate in class discussions. I’m quick with words and I remember them well.

Interpersonal and Intrapersonal tied at second highest, which I also see as incredibly relevant. Interpersonal is definitely true because I’m really social and I love talking to others, but I hate doing group work with people. Intrapersonal shows my independent side, where all I want to do is work alone and do all of my assignments as essays. I think I’m fairly self aware as well, and I can definitely read others really well.

For some reason I got naturalist as my third highest, which is ridiculous because I hate nature, I hate going outdoors (except for the beach), and I don’t really find animals that interesting.

There’s definitely something to be said for studies like this because it helps you identify what ways are best to learn, study, and achieve. It would be interesting to have “learning streams” instead of academic streams because then everyone in a class would be able to help each other with the same learning styles, and everyone would be able to benefit and share resources.

I find the multiple intelligence tests interesting. The results are usually correct for people. I scored highest in intrapersonal. I think this suits me. I know a lot about myself and surroundings. I’m pretty independent and I think I can read other people pretty well. The next highest score was interpersonal which is right again. I love being around others and I want to take social work next year. Then the ordered followed as bodily, naturalist and logical were tie, verbal, musical and visual were tie. The only thing was I thought logical would be lower because I’m not good in math. But other then that the order suits me pretty well.

When I completed the test my top result was Verbal/Linguistic. I think that this really suits me personally because english is my best subject and I like communicating through words a lot. I have always been a strong english student and interested in it. When I do have to participate in class discussions I find that I usually have an easy time getting my point across with words.

I ranked 12% in 4 other intelligence catergories (my second highest score) and I find this very interesting. The four were visual spatial, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist. I wasn’t suprised that visual spatial was one of my second ones because not only do I learn well with words and speech, but I find I can learn a lot from visual things like pictures, graphs, etc.

I was suprised to also have interpersonal ranked in second place too because I am not a person that really likes doing group work. I dont like working with other people a lot.

Intrapersonal was another thing that ranked in second place and I was not surprised by this either as I am an independant person and enjoy learning and doing things on my own without help. I definatley learn best on my own. However, this doesn’t stop me from getting assistance if it is needed.

Lastly, Naturalist fell into the 4 second ranked things. I was very surprised by this because I do not have a high interest in nature. I dont enjoy taking walks and stopping to view the landscape or trees. I dont take the time out of my day to enoy those things. The only things I personally find captivating and interesting is the night sky.

After finishing the multiple intelligence test i ranked the highest score in interpersonal with 28%. This means i learn best by being and interacting with others. I think this suits me well and is quite accurate. When trying to figure out my school work i look for other people to get their opinions on it. If i dont understand something i will ask for the help and try to understand by someone else telling me. I usually dont make a decision without having someone else’s opinion. I learn better by explanation, trying to figure things out on my own i dont work well doing.

I ranked second highest in Bodily/Kinaesthetic with 24%. I think this is also realistic. I am a very athletic person. I love being athletic. Sports is something i do as a hobby. Aswell learning by touch. I find i do learn better with visuals and by touch. When i can see something i am learning i tend to remember better. I think the intelligence test is a very interesting and cool test. Reading other’s blogs is seems that this test is a very accurate thing and it is cool to know how you learn best. It could help you learn better and have more understanding of your school work.

My result from the test was Verbal/Linguistic. I believe this was highly accurate because my best subject was English and I love to read and write. I am actually planning to be an English teacher so this fit really well.

The second highest was Intrapersonal. This is also highly accurate because I like working on my own better then in a group. I don’t like to feel dependant on someone in a project, wondering if they did their half of the work or are they going to show up on presentation day. I always have an opinion and try to voice it when I can, without trying to be rude.

I found this test to be really accurate. My highest result was verbal/linguistic, and I found this to be no surprise. For as long as I can remember I’ve been very good at spelling and grammar and I’ve gotten good marks in English, especially in high school. I’ve always liked English.

My lowest category was interpersonal, which doesn’t surprise me either because I don’t like being in big crowds that much and I also don’t like group work as much as I do independent work. I’ve always been like that.

I found the resaults of this test a little confusing- I ranked highest in interpersonal (24%) and intrapersonal (20%). I assumed I would have a high score in the interpersonal category. In school, I perfer to be doing group work than work alone, and tend to have a preference to spend time with people rather than myself. I was surprised because of my almost equally high percentage that fell under the intrapersonal category, because I’m not sure how I could be both.
My next three highest scores were the same- 16%. These were verbal/linguistic, body/kinaesthetic, and visual spacial. I originally assumed that verbal/linguistic would be where I would rank the highest. As long as I can remember English has been my favourite subject, and writing has always been something I enjoy. I like learning new words and phrases, and reading is probably my favourite hobby. The body/kinaesthetic kind of surprised me, as I honestly consider myself a reasonably lazy person. I have neither a love nor hate for sports or physical activity- I’ve always preferred to spend my time reading or something. Finally, I suppose I’m not surprised at my visual spacial ranking. I’ve never had a difficult time with directions or having a decent idea of where I am at any give time.
I ranked very low in the mathematical category, which is completely true to me. I’ve always hated not only math but having to have a concrete answer for anything. Overall I thought the test was pretty accurate.

I find that while I am fairly smart, someone that could never compare to my minimal intelligence level is Kyra Freer. She is a star student, handing in all her assigments on time and in a professional manor. I have a great appreciation for her and you should all strive to be more like her if you wish to achieve anything close to .. alana stop watching me….creep

I found the results interesting because it seems that the different ‘Multiple Intelligence’ field Percentage’s are good averaged. For ex. 15.4 % verbal/linguistic; 10.3% logical/mathematical; 12.8% visual spatial; 5.1% body/…; 17.9 interpersonal; 17.9% intrapersonal; 10.3% musical/rhythmic & 10.3% naturalist.

After taking the MIT, I learned that I am a very hands on person when it comes to my learning skills. I completely agree with this, because of my experiences from school and other activities where I have been learning. Although I do work good in groups and from visual learning I am more interested in learning when its hands on because I become active and I’m actually doing something besides sitting down in a room and being told what we are learning.

My highest score was 28.6% for bodily/ kinaesthetic. Second was 25% for visual spatial. Finally, 17.9% with interpersonal. I think this is very acurate because i learn very well by doing something hands on. I cant stay still and listen to a lecture, I have to be up and moving all the time. This also has to do with my being active.

At 33.3% – my highest score – was verbal / linguistic. As with the numerous other people who posted before me, I find this accurate because English is my favourite subject in school, and the one that I do best at. I find that writing comes easily to me – whether in essays, speeches, etc. – especially as opposed to other areas such as music, or art.
My second highest score was math. This doesn’t surprise me, as although it’s not my ‘area of expertise’ so to speak, I’ve been enjoying it a lot more throughout the past two years, and feel that I’m beginning to have an understanding and appreciation for it which I previously lacked (this is probably largely due to having a good math teacher vs. the one I had in grade 10…).
The two lowest scores on my list were musical and naturalist, which is bang on. Although my parents enrolled me in piano lessons since i was 5 years old, I don’t think I ever got farther than the Grade 4 difficulty (if you don’t know anything about piano, it’s not very high). As for the naturalist part, I’m not a big fan of nature and would prefer to be tanning on my deck or exploring a big city than out hiking somewhere (with all the mosquitoes, poison ivy, and huge insects).
These personality tests always interest me, and reassure me in a way: I have certain conceptions about myself that I’d like to believe are true, and I think these personality tests confirm them. It’s almost a test to see how well you know yourself – for example, if you consider yourself a sporty, athletic person but you maybe only ranked at 5% for ‘bodily/kinaestethic’ on this particular test, then perhaps you have some re-evaluating to do.

I had a tie between verbal/linguistic intrapersonal, and naturalist scoring at 18.9%. Personally, I agree with myself being verbal/linguistic because I am very fond of English and am very well with words. I also agree with myself being intrapersonal because I often do a lot of things very well on my own without any help and I’ve been like that since a young age as well. However, I disagree with being an naturalist because I have never been too fond of anything other than nature walks and hiking, but I don’t think that I should have scored an equal amount with this as I did with verbal/linguistic and intrapersonal.

My lowest were not a shock to me at all. Scoring a 2.7% for musical/rhythmic, 5.4% with visual spatial, and 8.1% with logical/mathematical. I am not very musically inclined and I’ve never really been interested in making music. I don’t play any instruments what-so-ever. However, I do enjoy listening to music quite a bit, making music just isn’t my forte. For visual spatial, I am not an artistic person; I never have and never will. Logical/mathematical did not surprise me because I have never been good with math; it is not something I comprehend very well no matter how hard I try and how much I study. My memory for all the equations and steps is terrible.

Overall, I thought this MIT was very accurate and I do encourage people to take this test. They may be shocked like I was.

After taking the test I found out that my highest perccent was interpersonal. I scored a 27.%. I found this test to be accurate because I learn from others and from discussions. I scored a 19.4% in verbal linguistic which suits me because I do have the ability to express myself through words and language. Bodily/kinaesthetic and intrapersonal were tied with a score of 13.9%. I was surprised that my bodily score was that low because I learn well by doing things and participating by being active. I also like to work alone as well as in groups therefore my inttrapersonal score was low. The rest of my scores were very low becasue they didn’t really reflect how I learn.

I scored highest in the verbal/linguistic category. This wqasn’t a surprise as I have always loved reading and writing, one of my favourite school subjects. Also, to memorize things, or to study for tests, I usually benefit by writing out the thing imn trying to memorize.
